$2,650.00

This early 8 Reales cob from Mexico is an incredible piece of history recovered from the shipwrecks of the 1715 Fleet. The 1715 Fleet was a group of treasure ships that sank off the coast of Florida during a hurricane on July 31, 1715. These ships were loaded with gold, silver, and gems taken from the New World heading back to Spain with hopes of boosting the economy. A real piece of treasure with historical significance that altered nations. Exceptional example with date and assayers mark visible, extremely difficult to find this nice. The “14” of the date can be seen at around 10 o’clock on the obverse.
