1794 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Land Grant PMG VF-20 *Thomas Mifflin*

$395.00

Very neat Pennsylvania land warrant from the last 1700s. Printed by F. Bailey in a mostly typeset design with a gorgeous bold state seal and handwritten components throughout. This land grant is made out to Isaac Jackson and warrants 400 acres of land in Cumberland Pennsylvania at a rate of only 50 shillings per 100 acres. This document bears the signature of Thomas Mifflin in 2 different spots (I believe these are secretarial signatures but not 100% sure). Mifflin was an American Founding father, signer of the United States Constitution, and at the time of this document Governor of Pennsylvania. Amazing large size certified document and an important piece of history at an affordable price.
