This New York note was printed by Samuel Loudon on thick paper. The front has the New York Arms with “Tis Death to counterfeit” beneath. The reverse has an emblem of an elephant with the latin motto “PAR VIRIBUS VIRTUS” (Virtue is equal to strength). Very nice elephant emblem.
