The June 7, 1776 issue marked the point where the prohibition of notes from other colonies in Connecticut was repealed. Lower denomination notes such as this one only required one signature where higher denominations required two. Printed by Timothy Green with an ornate design on the reverse with angels in the border corners. Solid lower grade example of this 1776 note with bold ink, especially on the front.
