The June 19, 1776 Connecticut issue was printed by Timothy Green with a type set design with detailed borders and the state seal. The two highest denominations required two signers where lower denominations, such as this note, only required one. This Six Pence bill was the lowest denomination of the series. Attractive VF example of this 1776 note with light paper and very bold ink.
