Connecticut Colonial Note Fr#CT-218 October 11, 1777 7 Pence PCGS 62 *Nice Example*
This small change Connecticut note bears the state seal and was printed on a bluish paper by Timothy Green with a blank back. Interestingly, the British stole 160 double printed sheets of these notes from Samuel Bishop in New Haven. Gorgeous high grade example with a tall upper margin and attractively penned signature. Not common to find uncirculated. There is a redemption signature on the reverse in red ink.
