This note is water marked “CONFEDERATION” in 2 lines and new boarder cuts for this issue say “UNITED STATES OF NORTH AMERICA”. This $40 note features an emblem of the rays of an all-seeing eye of providence shining on 13 stars representing the colonies, encircled by the motto “CONFEDERATION”.
