Delaware Colonial Note Fr#DE-65 June 1, 1759 5s PMG 8 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This Delaware note was printed by Ben Franklin and David Hall. The English Arms and 1 crown denoting the value of this note (a crown for every 5 Shillings) are present on the front. Although this example is backed, the front still shows relatively bold printing and legible signatures. Interestingly, the contemporary backing on this note appears to be paper used by someone to practice writing their name.
Signers: David Hall, William Armstrong, John Barns
