Delaware Colonial Note Fr#DE-60 May 1, 1758 20s PMG VF-20 *Ben Franklin*

$1,950.00

This early 1758 bill was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be clearly read along the right side of the reverse in bold ink. There is a neat lion vignette at the top of the reverse and nature print in the middle. The front shows 4 crowns, each representing 5 shillings of value along with the state arms. This 1758 issue is more difficult to find than the 1759 issue. Fantastic legibility for the grade, especially on Franklins name on the reverse. Gorgeous VF example, a must have for any colonial collection.

Signers: David Hall, John Clowes, William Armstrong
