This early 1758 bill was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be clearly read along the right side of the reverse. There is a neat lion vignette at the top of the reverse and nature print in the middle. The front shows 4 crowns, each representing 5 shillings of value along with the state arms. This 1758 issue is more difficult to find than the 1759 issue. Relatively nice legibility for the grade, especially on Franklins name on the reverse. Solid example of this popular note, a must have type for any colonial collection.
