This 2 Shilling bill from the June 1, 1759 Delaware issue was printed by Benjamin Franklin with a blank back. The purpose of this issue was to replace the entire 1746 issue and for loans. The state arms were sideways on the 6 lowest denominations, such as this note. Extremely rare low denomination note. Of the 5,000 originally printed, only 3 are known to exist today. Very nice legibility remains throughout this bill. This note is a survivor and a rarity worthy of any high caliber collection.
