This early Delaware colonial note was printed by Ben Franklin and David Hall. Franklin’s name can be seen across the middle of the reverse. This scarce 5 Shilling bill features a neat printing of sea serpents at the bottom of the reverse. The English Arms and 1 crown denoting the value of this note (a crown for every 5 Shillings) are present on the front. Very nice legibility throughout on this scarce and early low denomination note.
