This early Delaware colonial note was printed by Ben Franklin and David Hall. Franklin’s name can be faintly made out along the left side of the reverse along with a neat elephant and stork at the bottom. The English Arms and 2 crowns denoting the value of this note (a crown for every 5 Shillings) are present on the front. Survivor example with a neat contemporary sewing at the center and a contemporary pin at the top. This showed the great lengths colonists went to keep these notes in circulation. A true piece of history printed by an American legend.
