The front of this 1776 Delaware note features the English Arms and a typeset design with very intricate borders that have the denomination embedded within. The reverse features a large sheaf of wheat along with “To Counterfeit is Death” and ornamental borders. This bill was printed on thick paper containing blue thread and mica flake by James Adams who used to work for Benjamin Franklin. Massive eye appeal on this VF example with choice originality well deserving of the gold sticker from GCC.
