This 1777 Delaware bill features the beautiful new State Arms and intricate borders containing the denomination engraved and printed by James Adams. The reverse features a large sheaf of wheat with “To Counterfeit is Death” beneath and ornamental borders. The 4 lowest denominations, such as this 6 Pence bill were smaller in size than the higher denominations. This low denomination bill is sneakily scarce, of the 5,454 originally printed, only 24 are known to exist today. Wholesome problem free note, near AU.
