Delaware Colonial Note Fr#DE-88 May 1, 1777 4s PMG VF-20

$285.00

This 1777 Delaware bill features the new State Arms and elaborate borders engraved and printed by James Adams on course paper with blue silk threads. The reverse features a large sheaf of wheat with “To Counterfeit is Death” beneath. Wholesome VF example, nice for the grade. Surprisingly scarce, of the 9,800 originally printed, only 44 are known to exist today.
