Delaware Colonial Note Fr#DE-91 May 1, 1777 10s PCGS AU-53 PPQ GCC Gold

$465.00

This 1777 Delaware bill features the new State Arms and elaborate borders engraved and printed by James Adams. The reverse features a large sheaf of wheat with “To Counterfeit is Death” beneath. Gorgeous AU+ example with crisp clean paper and rich ink. Surprisingly scarce, of the 9,800 originally printed, only 44 are known to exist. Eye appeal well deserving of the gold sticker from GCC. Previously a part of the iconic Eric P. Newman collection.
