This 1777 Delaware bill features the new State Arms and elaborate boarders engraved and printed by James Adams. The reverse features a large sheaf of wheat with “To Counterfeit is Death” beneath. This 1777 issue is far scarcer than the 1776 issue. Of the only 9,800 10 Shilling notes printed, 40 are known to survive today. Attractive AU example with very minor paper pulls at the top edge of the reverse.
