The purpose of the September 10, 1777 Georgia issue was to support the Continental Troops. “This CERTIFICATE, for the Support of the Continental Troops, and other Expenses of the Government…” can be read across the front. This bill features red and black ink with a bold and bright orange seal. The seal features a sailing ship and remains strong and unobstructed. Incredibly scarce note with only 11 examples known to exist. Very neat note for the price.
