The 1776 Sterling Georgia issue was represented by 8 different denominations with varying sizes. This 1 Pound note was the largest denomination and was printed with red and black ink where smaller denominations were only printed in black ink. This bill features a typeset design with ornamental boarders. Despite some repairs, this note has attractive legibility and is very scarce with only 10 known to exist.
