This 1776 Georgia note features ornamental borders plus a red and black typeset design. There is an orange seal of Justice encircled by the latin motto “SUSTINE RECTUM” (Support what is right). This seal was applied by a separate overprinting during the manufacture of these notes. The orange seal is a slightly scarcer variety. Stunning note with exceptional paper, very high eye appeal despite the corner replacement.

Signers: Benjamin Andrew, William Evans, Samuel Saltus, William O’Bryen
