This note features ornamental boarders plus red and black typeset. There is a light blue seal of the liberty cap encircled by the latin motto “LIBERTAS CARIOR AURO” (Freedom is more precious than gold). This seal was applied by a separate overprinting during the manufacture of these notes. Although the body of the note is a bit tattered, the seal remains bold and unobstructed.
