Absolutely stunning uncut sheet of 4 Maryland colonial notes. Incredibly rare compared to sheets from other colonies with likely only 2-4 examples surviving intact. This sheet has the $2, $1, $2/3, and $1/3 bills from the April 10, 1774 issue. The bottom 2 notes are in the best condition. All bills have the serial number 5639 and are signed by Clapham and Eddis. Printed on thin paper containing mica flakes by Anne Catherine Green and Frederick Green. The front bears elaborate boarders with secret anti-counterfeiting marks. The reverse has large nature print, with each note having different leaves. Incredible piece for any collection.
