The April 10, 1774 Maryland issue was printed on thin paper with mica flakes throughout. A large nature print can be seen on the reverse. This note was printed by Anne Catherine Green (only known female printed of colonial currency) and Frederick Green. Secret marks are present in this issue as an anti-counterfeiting measure. Very high eye appeal example with attractive light paper and exceptional ink throughout.
