Printed on course paper with a blank back by Benjamin Edes. Notes with denominations less than 6 Shillings are small in size compared to higher denominations. Very nice problem free example of this scarce and desirable 1776 Massachusetts issue. Scarce note with only 14 examples known to exist. Incredible eye appeal on this problem free note, commonly seen faded. Well deserving of the elusive gold sticker from GCC. 1776 Massachusetts is usually one of the hurdles if trying to complete a 1776 thirteen colony set.
