Massachusetts Colonial Note Fr#MA-209 June 18, 1776 24s PCGS 40 *Counterfeit*
This very interesting bill from the June 18, 1776 Massachusetts issue would have been printed by Benjamin Edes. This example is a British counterfeit and particularly well done compared to others. The front features elaborate boarders and a minute man holding a sword and a copy of the Magna Carta. Beautiful example and very attractive for a contemporary counterfeit.
Signers: C. Davis, Abner Ellis (Forgeries)
