Massachusetts Colonial Note Fr#MA-276 1779 5s4d PMG 12 *Revere Rising Sun*

$0.00
Sold Out

The notes of the Massachusetts 1779 issue featured an updated face engraved by Paul Revere with a rising sun. This is alluding to our nation rising above Britain. The reverse features the pine tree seen in previous issues. Paul Revere printed the face of this note and the pine tree reverse was printed by Thomas Fleet. Scarce and sought after note printed by an American legend. Although lower grade, this is an affordable example. Iconic note, a staple for any colonial collection.
