This later issue Massachusetts note was redeemable in Spanish milled dollars by December 31, 1786 with 5% interest. The exchange rate for these bills was $40 in older Continental Currency for every $1. Printed on “UNITED STATES” watermarked paper in red and black ink by Hall and Sellers with a similar style to Continental Currency, especially the emblems on the reverse. Lovely AU example with clean and crisp paper and bold ink. Well deserving of the gold sticker from GCC.
Signers: Thomas Dawes, Samuel Henshaw, Joseph Henderson (Guaranty)
