Extremely early and rare ‘Silver Bank Bill”. The Boston Silver Bank was a private partnership with 107 members, headed by Edward Hutchinson & Isaac Winslow. The bank issues bills that were backed by coined silver or gold. Incredibly early contemporary counterfeit, possibly unique. This note was a part of the iconic Eric P. Newman Collection.
