This New Hampshire note was printed in red and black ink by Hall and Sellers. The border cuts and emblems of this note were engraved by Henry Dawkins, who was a former counterfeiter for the Tories. The paper bears a watermark “CONFEDERATION” in 2 lines. The guarantee signature on this note is John Taylor Gilman. Very clean example of a sought after issue, with bold ink, original paper and nice signatures. Very scarce with only 2,900 originally printed and 38 known to survive today. Well deserving of the evergreen sticker from GCC, fortifying the quality of the note for the grade.
Signers: Joseph Pearson, James McClure, Ephraim Robinson, John Taylor Gilman (Guarantee Signature)
