The June 14, 1757 New Jersey issue was the 6th War issue of bills meant to fund the military effort in the French and Indian War. They were worth their weight in silver. The front shows the state arms along with a sun emblem within the text. The reverse features exceptionally bold ink with various emblems and strong nature print. There is also a neat hand pointing towards the warning to counterfeiters. Incredibly scarce note with only 500 originally printed and 10 known to survive today.
