The October 20, 1758 New Jersey issue is known at the 9th War Issue with the purpose of funding the French and Indian War. The faces of the three highest denominations, including this 30 Shilling bill were printed in red and black ink by James Parker. The reverse features the usual sage leaf nature print and various ornaments. Incredibly scarce note with only 1,000 originally printed and only 5 known to survive today.
