The April 10, 1759 New Jersey issue was the 10th War Issue of bills used to fund military action against the French. At the time, they were worth their weight equivalent in silver. This note was printed by James Parker of Woodbridge with red and black ink. Only 2,850 3 Pound notes were printed. This is the second highest denomination of the issue featuring a sun emblem on the front and nature print on the reverse. Lovely problem free VF example with eye appeal worthy of the evergreen sticker from GCC. These notes mostly exist in low grades, tough to find this nice.
