The April 12, 1760 New Jersey issue was the 11th War Issue of bills used to fund military action against the French. At the time, they were worth their weight equivalent in silver. This note was printed by James Parker of Woodbridge in red and black ink. The front features a half sun emblem along with the state arms and 6 crowns depicting the denomination (5 Shillings per crown) The reverse has the usual nature print as well as 6 crowns. Of the 4,883 30 Shilling bills originally printed, only 28 are known to exist today.
