The April 12, 1760 New Jersey issue was the 11th War Issue of bills used to fund military action against the French. At the time, they were worth their weight equivalent in silver. This note was printed by James Parker of Woodbridge in red and black ink. The front features a sun emblem along with the state arms. The reverse has the usual nature print as well as ornamental borders. Of the 2,759 3 Pound bills originally printed, only 30 are known to exist today. Lovely eye appeal for the grade.
