The April 8, 1762 New Jersey notes were the 13th War Issue. They were worth their weight equivalent in silver and printed by James Parker. This 6 Pound note was the highest denomination of the issue and was printed in red and blue. there all lower denominations were printed in red and black. The 6 Pound also has a beautiful oversized state arms. Only 1,219 were originally printed and 22 are known to survive today.
