The April 8, 1762 New Jersey notes were the 13th War Issue. They were worth their weight equivalent in silver and printed by James Parker. This 6 Pound note was the highest denomination of the issue and was printed in stunning red and blue ink. This 6 Pound also has a beautiful oversized state arms, sun faces on the front, and a detailed border design. Very scarce, only 1,219 were originally printed and 23 are known to survive today. Beautiful VF+ example with strong ink and paper. Difficult to find this nice.
Signers: Samuel Nevill, Thomas Rodman, Samuel Smith
