This note from the December 31, 1763 New Jersey issue was printed by James Parker on paper that contained mica flakes and blue thread. This was the first New Jersey issue that implimented mica flakes in the paper as an anti-counterfeiting measure. Nature print of a sage leaf can be seen on the reverse along with “To Counterfeit is Death”. Gorgeous AU+ note with crisp bright paper, bold ink and signatures. Seemingly under graded and well deserving of the EPQ designation from PMG and gold sticker from GCC.
