This 3 Pound bill from the March 25, 1776 issue was printed on mica flake paper in red and black ink by Isaac Collins in Burlington, NJ. Large bold nature print can be seen on the reverse along with ornamental borders containing various symbols. The front of this note detailed borders and bright red state arms. The paper of this note is watermarked “NEW JERSEY”. Incredible bold ink throughout with strong crisp paper. Choice uncirculated example of this popular 1776 note at a reasonable price, would likely grade GEM without the minor stains.
