This 6 Shilling bill from the March 25, 1776 issue was the lowest denomination of the series. Printed on mica flake paper in red and black ink by Isaac Collins in Burlington, NJ. Large bold nature print can be seen on the reverse along with ornamental borders containing various symbols. The front of this note has detailed borders and the state arms. The paper of this note is watermarked “NEW JERSEY”. Incredible bold ink throughout with strong crisp paper on this near uncirculated example of a popular 1776 note.
