This 12 Shilling bill from the March 25, 1776 issue was printed on mica flake paper in red and black ink by Isaac Collins in Burlington, NJ. Large bold nature print can be seen on the reverse along with ornamental borders containing various symbols. The front of this note featured detailed borders and the state arms. The paper of this note is watermarked “NEW JERSEY”. Strong AU example of this popular 1776 note with nice margins.
