New Jersey Colonial Note Fr#NJ-179 March 25, 1776 12s PMG AU-58 *Eye Appeal*

$325.00

This 12 Shilling bill from the March 25, 1776 issue was printed on mica flake paper in red and black ink by Isaac Collins in Burlington, NJ. Large bold nature print can be seen on the reverse along with ornamental borders containing various symbols. The front of this note featured detailed borders and the state arms. The paper of this note is watermarked “NEW JERSEY”. Incredible bold ink throughout with strong crisp paper. Gorgeous example that I believe would grade uncirculated+ without the missing corner tip.

Signers: Robert Smith, Jonathan Johnston, Joseph Smith
