This 3 Pound bill from the March 25, 1776 issue was printed on mica flake paper in red and blue ink by Isaac Collins in Burlington, NJ. Bold nature print can be seen on the reverse along with unique borders including bees and various other symbols. The front of this note has ornate blue and red borders and a large and detailed state coat of arms. There are also interesting symbols such as the red sun face and blue lions. The paper of this note is watermarked “NEW JERSEY”. Incredible bold ink throughout with crisp paper. Difficult to find this nice with bright color. Exceptional vivid note worthy of any high end colonial collection.
