This early June 22, 1756 issue is known at the “Fourth War Issue” and was passed to replaced worn bills from prior issues. Printed in black ink by James Parker in Woodbridge on thick paper containing blue thread. This 18 Pence bill was the second lowest denomination of the series. Gorgeous example with remarkably bold ink throughout and strong nature print on the reverse. Very scarce, of the 7,500 originally printed, only 24 are known to exist today. Incredible early and high grade note for the price.
