Very scarce early New York issue printed by William Weyman with blank backs. The New York Arms can be seen on the front with “Tis Death to counterfeit this Bill" below. Previous issues stated “Its Death to counterfeit this Bill”, this issue replaced “Its” with “Tis”. The front of this scarce and early New York note is still bold and legible.
