The purpose of this early New York issue was to fund the expedition to Crown Point. Printed by James Parker on course paper. The front of this note features a serpentine column, the New York State Arms, and ornamental boarders. Below the State Arms, “Its DEATH to counterfeit this Bill” can be seen. The reverse of these bills were blank. High eye appeal example for the grade and in fantastic condition for it’s age.
