This scarce and early New York issue was printed by William Weyman with a blank back. The New York Arms can be seen on the front with “Tis Death to counterfeit this Bill" below. Previous issues stated “Its Death to counterfeit this Bill”, this issue replaced “Its” with “Tis”. Striking VF example with fantastic eye appeal on this issue usually seen tattered. Incredibly scarce with only 5,000 originally printed and 20 known to survive today. Quality well deserving of the evergreen sticker with original paper and bold ink.
