Very scarce and early New York issue printed by William Weyman with blank backs. The New York Arms can be seen on the front with “Tis Death to counterfeit this Bill" below. Previous issues stated “Its Death to counterfeit this Bill”, this issue replaced “Its” with “Tis”. Bold ink and attractive eye appeal on this early note, usually found in lower grades. Of the 5,000 originally printed, only 16 are known to exist today.
