This August 2, 1775 New York issue is known as the second Water Works issue. Similar in form to the 1774 issue , printed on course paper with red and black ink. Only 2500 Pounds worth of these notes were issued by New York City, with 4,000 4 Shilling notes printed. Neat issue with water utilities on the reverse and a typeset face. Nice, problem free mid-grade example.
