This $10 bill has a gorgeous emblem of an elephant encircled by the Latin motto “PAR VIRIBUS VIRTUS” (Virtue is equal to strength). Pleasing problem free example of this popular $10 note from 1776. Much scarcer than the elephant note from August 1776. Of the 2,350 originally printed, only 20 are known to survive today.
